Laboratories
Computer Lab:
The present generation must be adept with all the knowledge related to computers and its judicious use. SAGHS is fully equipped with a computer laboratory. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and curriculum. The computer faculty makes continuous efforts to see that the students must get expertise in practical implementation of the tools they have in their curriculum. The primary section students are trained to use basic software like windows, Ms-office & Ms- word etc and computer language like LOGO and Q-Basic. In the higher classes the students have an option to learn advanced software which is the part of their curriculum. The students get exposure to latest multimedia software like FLASH, PHOTOSHOP, etc.
Math Lab:
A student can learn and explore mathematical concepts and verify mathematical facts through a variety of activities using different materials in a Math Lab. It provides an opportunity to students to understand and internalize the basic mathematics concepts through concrete objects and situations. The teacher demonstrates, explains and reinforces abstract mathematical ideas by using concrete objects, models, charts, graphs, pictures, etc.
Chemistry Lab:
The Chemistry lab is designed while keeping all the statutory norms and safety standards. It is spacious and provided with good ventilation. Here, a scientific attitude is developed in the students along with the ability to analyze, compute, integrate and deduce. In the lab the students learn to handle apparatus and chemicals. They improve their understanding of various chemical reactions and chemical process thereby enhancing their logic and reasonable skills.
Physics Lab:
The teaching of science has to encourage children to think work scientifically. Well planned, spacious and well equipped physics lab has all the interesting sets of equipments to reinforce scientific and experimental concepts and facilities in developing to investigate skills. These are model, charts, apparatus, kits and experimental gadgets to cater the needs of students.
Biology Lab:
To maintain the scientific temper and to enhance the spirit of science exploration today's students should be trained and encouraged to carry on the spirit of our famous scientists, for which we have provided a fully equipped Biology lab. The lab is equipped with models, charts, specimens, etc to ensure that the topics taught in the class are reinforced into the minds of the learners.
Social Lab:
Our Solar System, Eclipses, Earth and its Satellite the moon are all concept based information until the child steps into the Social Science Lab and rediscovers all this for himself/herself. The knowledge of Continents, Oceans, rotation & revolution of the earth, regional, national and universal knowledge of geography is all imparted in this lab. There are models, samples, sketches, maps, globes and several pictures related to History, Geography, Civics and 3D models showing day and night formation and solar system.
Language Lab:
The language lab is an audio or audio - visual installation used as an aid in modern language teaching. It allows a teacher to listen to and manage student audio via a hard wired analogue tape deck based system with "Sound booths" in fixed locations. SAGHS English language lab maintains a good linguistic competence through accuracy in grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and more effective learning.
